    I'm just glad you & Becky are OK! Did you hang that guardian bell I gave you????

     

    Verrrry funny wize a$$, very funny!! Here's what he did. He took a guardian bell bag and filled it with some bolts and screws and gave it to me. I thanked him for the bell and put the bag in my pocket to mount later. Well, later came and I went to install the "Bell" and found out what it really was!! Big Tom put you up to that, didn't he?!!?

     

    Yes there was a bell, given by Big Tom, on the bike.

     

    Stopped over at the dealer on the way home and the estimate was over $6000. Forks do not appear to be bent, but they will check runout when the actual repair is done and replace if necessary. I should have it back in a couple of weeks just in time for the Skid In we hope. Our insurance is Nationwide and supposedly they are very good...

    We hit a deer about 75 miles from home this afternoon. We did NOT go down, and nothing happened to us at all. The bike, however needs a new front fender, turn signal bar, and I'm suspecting probably the entire front end assembly. Slight scratch on the front fairing that I would expect will buff right out.

    It was a young buck that had to be put down. We were very sad! Didn't even have time to hit the brake, and we had a real tank slapper for a few seconds. Got it back in control and pulled off to the side.

     

    The insurance company isn't gonna be happy with us! I have $500 deductable that I wil have to somehow come up with...

    Yup. Gerald, that's our new 2 seater convertable...

     

    Dragerman and Sonny, actually Becky likes Goldie better for comfort, but maybe after a few mods we can fix that. Thanks al for the kind words, and yes, now I have the best of BOTH worlds. Buddy, I wil be getting rid of a bunch of spare parts soon. What are you looking for??

    Surprise, surprise!! Yes, I'm going to keep it, and no, I did not get rid of Goldie!!! I'm keeping both!
