  1. LOL...who me?
  2. I"m mot sure I'm understanding the problem. What is happening?
  3. WOW...sounds like you folks think I was referring to @Marcarl Interesting.
  4. OK...I know it's not...but who does this look like? Or...maybe it is.
  5. What a cutie. I'll be she has no problem getting what she wants without singing.
  6. OK...I am fully aware that I am no different than any other grandfather. Very biased in my opinion about my granddaughter. I love the way she sings though. She is 15 now but was 14 I think when she did these. Not professionally produced, just messing around in her bedroom. https://soundcloud.com/karsennelson/all-of-me https://soundcloud.com/karsennelson/not-like-the-movies-katy-perry
  7. The 2016 International Rally registration forms are now uploaded to the International Rally thread. Please download and get your information in as you can. There is also a logo design pretty much done. Pictures of the T-Shirt design will be posted as soon as available. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?110181-2016-VentureRider-International-Rally&p=935662#post935662
  8. Dan, hate to tell you but it sounds a little high. I just did a quick search and then built it on KBB. I built the "Leather sedan" which is the very top of the line. I added every option available including navigation, premium sound, moon roof, premium wheels and etc. Everything you can get on one. Even with 1200 miles the average private party value is about 14,382. Of course private party value is typically a bit less than dealer price because they will tell you that dealers have done inspections, made any necessary repairs, etc. We all know that some are better than others at that but regardless, the dealer price comes to about 16,787 if it is a certified pre-owned from a Buick dealer. If it is not certified, it comes to about 16,312. So, if you really love the car and plan to buy it, I would do some negotiating. I don't know much about that model so can't give you any inside on the actual car.
  9. Two things I would start with. First of all, verify that it is running on all four cylinders. It's amazing how smooth these bikes will run on only 3. For reasons that I have never understood, there have been more than a few coils go bad or the right rear cylinder. Another thing to check is that all the boots are complete down and sealed on top of the carbs. If the clamps are over tightened, they send to ride up and leave a gap between the boot and the carb throat.
  10. Sounds good to me. I've always kind of wanted a BMW GS1200 or 1250...whatever they are now so just put me down for one of those.
  11. I know NOTHING!
  12. There is nothing new about the user tagging, quote notifications, etc. Those have always been user selectable. Maybe you accidentally changed a setting? I don't now. I just checked mine and nothing was changed. You can elect to get those quote notifications and other things but going to your profile. Scroll down to the bottom in the left menu. Under User Tagging click on "settings". There you can select which and what type of notifications you wish to see or receive my email.
  13. Contact info, codes, etc. for the resort have been added to the first post here: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?110181-2016-VentureRider-International-Rally
  14. It's all good my friend. Just something else that we have all done.
  15. LOL...of course. I'll put it in the stack with the other bills. HEY....it went without a hitch. That's good right?
  16. Hey.....you DO live in California. Right?
  17. I'm going to try and keep this short and hopefully not ruffle too many feathers. A mistake was made. I can assure you that nobody here feels worse about it than Chuck does. He apologized and that is all that he can do. I accept that apology and will not ask any more from him. I see no reason to continue berating him over it. Yes, it was a fair sized mistake. I can tell you for absolute certain though that I have made bigger mistakes. I'm willing to bet that almost everybody here has also at one time or another. It's not the end of the world. Yes, I feel bad for anybody that had already scheduled their vacation and may not be able to change it. That is a terrible outcome. I also know though of at least two people who can now come that weren't going to be able to before. How will it balance out? I don't know and it doesn't make me feel any less bad for anybody who not can't make it but what is done is done. It is January 6th folks. The rally is more than 10 months out. That's a long time. I wish that this hadn't happened but I'm glad that we found out now instead of later. I hope people can just get over it and we can all have a good time.
  18. OK...I think I'm done. I don't smell the smoke so hopefully all is well.
  19. I'm presently updating the forum software. No major changes, just bug fixes and etc. I don't expect any issues but if you see something a little more flaky than usual, see or smell smoke, etc. That's probably why.
  20. That is closer than I would like them to be but is the best we could do. They are booked the weeks before our original date. Anything later would put us into October and possible weather issues for our norther members.
  21. Have no idea on the Victory. I can say for sure that I synched them on a BMW at a Tail of the Dragon rally one year.
  22. There is a major problem with the rally dates as brought to light by @Barrycuda. We can blame the resort, we can blame Chuck or we can blame me. Regardless, the dates were not blocked for us by the resort and we have no choice except to change the dates of the rally. I am fully aware of the fact that this could cause issues for some who may have a hard time with vacation scheduling and etc. but the fact is, there is nothing else that we can do. So the date for the International Rally has been officially changed to September 12 - 15th. The week previous to our original date is not available either. If you have previously signed RSVP on the VentureRider Calendar, please do so again as it had to be reset to zero because of he changed date. Here is the link. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/ca...-12&redirect=1
