It has a pull switch was pondering what it could be then thought of the switch surprised it was never pickup on was glad I had my wife check the back I am always checking lights and oil and tire pressure before riding.

Got it fixed was just the brake light switch needed adjustment they must not have caught it at the factory or dealer. Now tommorrow first ride on the Venture.

Back to dealer tommrow was going to go for my first ride but no brake lights no ride

Does anyone know does bike have to be moving for brake lights to work sitting idling and not driving brake lights will not come on signals work and 4 ways work. Any ideas or is it bad to the shop

My insurance on my Star Venture TC in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada is $1300. for full coverage and that included my 33% discount .Also it has to be paid over 5 months .We get ripped off here.

Yes I agree did not believe all the Goldwing Riders switching mine is sitting in my garage looking pretty our forecast is for a little snow and a wind chill of -29 tommrow morning .I guess that is why we are known as Winterpeg.The extra leg room for me and when I say on the bike for the first time it just felt dam good. Hope you get yours out next week I will see here as we have tons of sand and salt all over our streets.Take care Bill

I also a wing rider since 1978 also went to the Venture.

It is straight forward on the Venture to not have to do anything special each fob will work without any tricks

I bought one with mine just in case other one dies I am in Winnipeg Canada and cost me $350 plus tax

It is close to that height I am also 6ft 3 and had a high back rest on my wing this back rest is not as high as the aftermarket on the Wing we will be Ridi g out to Ajax one day this summer hopefully

Have not had a chance to try yet as there is too much sand on our streets in Winnipeg. Sitting on the bike the higher backrest feels good will have to wait till all the snow and especially sand is off the streets here in Winnipeg my dealer told me try the higher back rest if you do not like they will take it back.

Looking forward to getting first ride on it as have not drove yet was delivered by my sales man .This is going to be a big change as I have been on a Goldwing for 35 years wanted a change

Congrats still waiting for streets to get cleaned up here before I pickup mine my last numbers are 000097. Will post more after a few rides and I agree the 5 year warranty is a bonus.

Was wondering did you find The Venture top heavy.I am going from a 2001 Goldwing

What was the cost of your 4000 mile service and what was included in it? Also, what type of wear are you showing on the tires? I was also wondering on how your tires were wearing.
