  1. That would give tinker a run for her money I think, I would think that would be fast.
  2. Prayers up for Owl.
  3. do those cracks go all the way down? It could have been some kind of guide for the machine. I know on Briggs engines when I was doing the drill press there was something similiar but can't tell you what the part was. It was just an order number too me.
  4. Now thats a nice job on that V-Max
  5. Prayers go out to those effected by the storms, I hate hearing about them things being as I live in Tornado Alley. Specially the kind that come at night or one we had here 5 yrs ago going on 6.
  6. Yeah that I have a quart of 5w-20 I used on the motorcycle. I also got rid of that annoying brake squeal with it It seems to have helped my front brake lever just dump some of that in the resovoir and it seems the weight helps push the brake fluid down. Ok so I used it on the cables, But I have seen the other 2 things done with oil...
  7. As for the Canadian guy they are the same price as my NGK standards or close too, I think NGK may be closer to 3.50 or so but, I have been trying to find some spark plugs that perform as well as my Copper Splitfires did. So Far I have came back empty. The plug I am looking for the bottom looked kinda like a crowbar and the inner peice really had the copper color to it. I haven't seen those spark plugs since 99. I would have never used them in the first place but true story I picked up a flintstone car it was an 84 Chevy Chevette and I got well over 30 miles to a gallon in that car. When I switched to regular plugs as those plugs ran about $5.00 versus $0.78 a piece I was only getting a measly 25 mpg. So when I got paid again I bought the Copper split fires and got my 30+ mpg back. I miss that car minus the times I was pulled over for supposedly laying rubber and the cop leaving my carton of cigs over the flintstone power conversion and losing all but one pack. Lost more then Cigs in that car.....

  11. No i was watching a game show called The Wall. They asked what does the w mean in 10w-40? The answers were Water.wear, winter, weight Well the lady answered weight which for 30 yrs I have heard people say 10weight 40 its always referred to as weight, long story short she got the wrong answer they just pulled a fast one and said it stood for winter! Said something about viscosity, Wow I didn't know that so I figured I would ask here but for some reason it didn't give me poll options. Living life one curve after the other. 12. One more thing My dad was here earlier and was talking about his motorcycles and he was saying that his Suziki didn't like NGK plugs but his 2 cycle motor loved them... He said he used Champions or the Autolite's.
  13. Is that an order sir? Shoot I have not been having much fun lately. Them wires up by the coils are :yikes:, But You know I just thought of something too, I think the plugs I took out of it last summer were Autolite's I will have to check the Garage and see if they may still be in there. They could very well be, Because I thought never know if I may need a couple for something. I just changed them as a tune up there wasn't nothing wrong with them plus that is when I the TCI unit was failing. Which I am sure if I can find someone to rework that board was it Diodes Fool said, Anyways I know for a fact they weren't NGK's.
  14. Where did you find your mount? The best I came up with on my phone is something that clamps the sides of my phone and a rubber strap to keep it secure.
  15. I wasn't sure because I know the clock on royals are usually underneath the CMS but on the 83's I was thinking it looked pretty much the same as my dash on my standard. There is a few Ebay post that say 83 royal but the clocks are underneath instead of on top. I was trying to scavange some rotors for Matt and the motorcycle I have been eyeing for parts is a royal and it has the same dash as mine. Sad the only thing wrong with that bike is it has no title.... It has the second gear fix and about 32000 on it I believe. I have been trying to buy it for the parts but the guy won't let go of it because of morons in the past trying to title things that didn't have a title... Never fails always someone got to ruin it for someone else. But anywho I will get that rim w/rotors and junk tire ordered Friday I will probably have them ship it to you Matt.
  16. Well I pulled them out got them all dried up and cleaned put them back in got to running temp and the bike shut down would not start up. Putting the old ones back in this bike seems to like cheap plugs!!! Living life one curve after the other. Vroom scooting, thru the countryside.
