    Hey All, I have picked up a mic splitter cable from EdSets, Ed is a great guy to talk to and deal with btw, I have connected it inline via the aux line and plugged into my Garmin Streetpilot c550. I get nothing through the helmet. I use a 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male adapter and plug it into my Iphone and I can make calls on the phone with the bike turned on BUT not running. When I start the bike there is terrible background/wind sounding noise on the receiving end of the call. Today when I rode I am hearing a clicking type sound through the system like the old time radio noise back in the day with nothing hooked into the new cable from Ed. Any thoughts?? Am I missing something on how to hook up the GPS...Driving me knuts Thanks

    Hey All, I have a studded Mustang tank bib on my 07, don't really go for the stud look, has anyone found one that has better storage than an oddly shaped pocket. Or is a smallish tank bag the way to go to hold phone, keys, glasses etc... anyone use a tank bag? May be looking to sell the Mustang bib... Thanks Gorski

    Hi All, Toying with getting a GPS and am wondering if anyone knows of any major differences between the street 550 and the Zumo. I can make a waterproof cover for it if needed but not looking to spend +/_ $200 Many Thanks

    Ok, I consider myself somewhat intelligent, but, can not seem to figure this out. When I try to talk on the Iphone (while parked) I can hear the other party just fine, but they can not hear me. Is there something I am missing? Shouldn't the mic work so I can talk? I have it connected via the AUX port and can play and music fine. Thanks took a while to post this because of how foolish I feel...lol

    Hi All, Looking to get a backrest, have seen the fixed and adjustable on EBAY, is the adjustable worth the extra cost and does it make that much of a difference? Have never had one and only want to buy it once. Thoughts? Thanks Gorski

    link for the HF dolly, looks like it would work, like some of the others that I've seen that cradle the tires and secure them. but HF seems to do the job

    Ok, so I should have lights on the dash when I turn the switch on, I have turned it to off and then on while riding and no lights on the dash come on. Switch acts as it should, toggles to the left then to center but just no lights on the dash. Hoping it is just a relay, waiting on the weather to break so I can check it out, Thanks

    Thanks Du-Rron, I'll give that a shot, are the cc lights supposed to be on on the dash all the time or just when the cc switch is in th e on position?

    Thanks oconeedan... Have tried many different ways to hold the switch to no avail, I have no lights at all. Waiting on the weather to clear a bit here in Delaware to try again to figure it out. Should the CC lights be on all the time? or are they off until you try to set it.... Thanks again

    Thanks, Have re-installed the original grips and they feel much better for me, install was not bad, although I did break both old grips taking them off. You-tube video was a big help..

    Hey All, PO of my bike has installed a set of Kuryakyn Iso grips, feel ok but seam very big. Is there a grip that is thinner? I have the originals as well, not sure if they can be reused. Is there a trick to getting the right side off, nothing listed in the repair manual, only the left side...Thanks

    Both clutch and brake handles are fully out, seem good, no play in them. Just seems like there is no power to the cc..??

    Hey Neil, have tried that as well, turned it off shut the bike down, refired, waited till I got up to bout 60 and turned it on, still no lights nor does it set if I hit the set button, thinking it may be beyond my abilities....hmmmm

    Hi All, New hear, just purchased a 2007 Royal Star Venture, wow what a bike! Previous original owner said he never had any issue with cruise control, I tend to believe him, but when I turn it on the switch, it goes back to center position I believe like it should, but there are no dash lights at all. Haven't taken anything apart yet and am wondering if there is a fuse that could have blown or any suggestions as to where to start my trouble shooting. Thanks in advance, great forum!...Gorski
