I've been having a problem with my '99 Venture wandering or darting side to side when hitting uneven roads or bumps. Yamaha checked the suspension and said it looked ok. I still feel something is going on. Any advice on what could be checked to diagnosis what could be happening? How do you check the front forks for problems besides leaks. Is there a way to check the spring tension from side to side?

I've been using the BFGoodrich tire for about 1400 miles so far. Before I put the tire on I noticed some wandering when I go over bumps and uneven roads. I had it at Yamaha for an inspection and they didn't find anything. Since I put the BFG tire, I notice the wander or pulling motion even more. Any ideas what could be causing the erratic feeling?

Jim, I am looking at a 83 Venture and am wondering if there is a problem getting parts for it. Does yamaha stock parts for the 1st Gen bikes? Tony -
I'm looking for a used radio control unit. The toggle switch only works in the up position. I tried cleaning and re-plugging the plug at the back of the radio. No dice. Must be the contact in the control unit. If anyone knows of a crashed '99 and up Venture please let me know. Thanks, Tony

I need a radio control for my 1999 Venture. Does anyone know where a used one can be bought? Or someone with a wrecked Venture that is parting it out? Thanks
