So I decided to do my Iron Butt ride that I had to postpone from June. I have to say I gave out before my 29 year old bike did. I started getting leg cramps & had to stop. The bike was flawless. It ran so good. I had my cruise set at 75 all day long not one hiccup[emoji3] average fuel mileage was 40-43 depending on whether I was riding into the wind or in the hills. I am convinced that Yamaha should bring this v4 back.

The one on had on my bike didn't blow chunks. I wore it out because I didn't check the air pressure. Bad 10spd huh.

Well I'm at Iron Pony here in Westerville to get an oil change & new rear tire. They don't have a Michelin Comander in stock. I chose to go with a Metzler 888. Which is an upgraded version of the 880. It has a little stiffer sidewall. I'll get a review after a few hundred miles.

Ok so being forgetful I didn't renew my membership. now that I have I can finally answer. yes I did relocate the TCI box on top of the air filter box. I am pretty sure the wires & caps are original. I do have 4 brand new coils. I am thinking go from the coils to the plugs & iridium plugs as well.
I got caught in a pretty good rain the evening on my home from a very nice ride. I noticed that my bike started to miss fire & basically running like crap. Although I did make it home. I was only 7 miles from home. Now where to start. Plugs caps wires coils? I think all of the above.

She was in her own little world & no one else mattered. These days it's more important than ever for those of us that ride. To pay attention to everyone & everything around us. Be careful out there guys & gals. [emoji106]

At the risk of starting a war of opinions. Has anyone put a Michelin Comander on the rear of their bike if so how well do you like it?
