I have a CLASS system. it does have a control module on the right side of the fairing. when I turn the key to acc. I get power to it but it goes to e-4. & does not show pressures. again sorry for any confusion.

Is true that we have a manual fill on the air ride front & rear. I thought I read on here somewhere that we do. I found this on the right side of tree just below the hazard switch. Is this it? There is also one just like it on the left side behind the side cover by the dampener control.

The one that I have in my Honda is about 3 yrs old. I did not ride it for a full year. it was completely dead. put it on a battery tender for a month. works like it is still new. I will have to get one for my venture. thanks for the info

was just wondering if any body has used a agm sealed battery? I have one in my Honda & love it. curious if it performed the same in the Yamaha?

looks like it is coming out of the thermostat gasket.

just found out my 1988 venture is doing its best Harley impression. coolant leak right side of the the engine looks like.

good luck on this. I will try this next year. after I get a couple of bugs out of the bike.

well I took the bike to local bike shop to have a looksee. this guy did a lot of work on my old Honda so I do trust him. he did not think I had any carb issue. He did suggest to check ohms resistance on the wires & plug caps. I do remember seeing that same test on here before. so again thanks for the tips.

my module will light up but then shows an E4. So I think I have a module that has gone bad.

just got back from about a 125 mile first real ride on my 1988 venture. even though I have a carb issue & in need of a good tune up. checked the gas mileage. got 39mpg. riding position is comfortable, my wife said she likes the seat. cant wait to get things running right. powerful engine also made for an enjoyable day. I think I have a keeper.

so I put my key to acc & my air ride display lights up:) should I hear the compressor run?

my favorite thing is the dual range transmission. works very well.

this bike was my dads I got it when he passed away 11 years ago. I had a 1981 version of this same bike.

if my onboard compressor module in the fairing does not light up with pressures. etc should I look for a fuse or the module. pretty sure the air ride is flat. just from the way it is riding. a little rough. thanks in advance Greg
