I thought I was the only one tempted to do that.

I suspect It was just the loose battery cables as well. But for about 10 minutes I was wondering what was going on.

my bike would not start everything was dead, then it started. rode about 35 miles. & started to act up. missing sputtering no power, then it smoothed out. 5 miles later did the same thing again. when we stopped for dinner, took the body work off to check the battery. both cables had come loose tightened them up bike ran great. also my cruise was not working now it is. any ideas as to why?

Now that I have had my bike for about 2 months now. I have run 2 cans of Seafoam through it. When the bike is cold it runs like a scalded dog. Once it warms up it does seem to sputter a little on a good pull. This winter I will put new plugs wires & caps. to see if that will help. But in the mean time could it be something as simple as a partially plugged fuel filter? Or could my fuel pump be going bad? Or both. I might be just as far ahead to replace both while I have the bike down.

I have wheel bearings front & rear for my 88 & will change them this winter. I have 37,000 on mine. Just a little maintenance. to prevent a possible breakdown.

Are there headsets that will plug into the factory intercom on my 1988 royale?

I will have to try the kill switch thing in the morning. My 88 is kinda hard to start in the morning. I also have both of my bikes addicted to seafoam. love the stuff.

they Have a good price on front brake rotors for the 88 royale. mine are a little thin. You can feel grooves in them. just thought for the money they might worth while investment.

On my way to work this morning. I had a warning light come on. not knowing which light this meant. I turned around went back home got my old Honda out & rode it to work. while at work did some research on which system this was. The shop manual on the web site was very helpful. turned out to be a low brake fluid warning. I do have a front caliper leaking. I topped off the reservoir for the rear brake no more light. Also where do I look for kits to rebuild the calipers.

Got out for about 200 miles. 4 new plugs & seafoam in it. runs pretty good.

I put a new set of spark plugs in yesterday. The little short test ride last night bike ran pretty good. going to take about a 300 mile ride today so that should be a good test.

IT WORKS. Now on auto will it keep the pressure that I set? I set them for what I have in my Honda right now. Which is 12 in the front & for me & the wife 45-55 for the rear. Does that sound about right. I would check an owners manual but this used bike did not come with one. yes it did right pretty good at those pressures.

okay module is out my nephew is going to go over the solder joints this afternoon. his price is right FREE hopefully this will fix it.

I will have to take it to an electronics shop near where I live. Yes I will put my ride up this week. Thanks again for the help.
