  1. The good news is that I was awake during the surgery. Could hear when the were cutting the ends off the stitches. Never once heard anybody say “oops” so that’s probably a good thing.

  2. Ever wonder how people make a degree sign. Say 32° is freezing, or ↑ or ↓ or → etc. Say for the degree sign, after you type 32, you hold the alt button, and type 0176 (with the number key pad on the right side of keyboard) and let go of the alt button. ° bam ♣ alt 5, ≥ alt 242 , Here is a link to the codes and symbols you might want https://www.alt-codes.net/ or another site I like better https://www.rapidtables.com/code/text/alt-codes.html

  3. Well, this weekend feels like it has gone on forever but this is the last day of this misery. To be honest, it hasn't been as bad as I expected but certainly not pleasant. I've not had to take any of the pills that they gave me for nausea and I've managed to get by with only Tylenol and only a couple of times for that. I haven't even opened the bottle of Oxycodein that they prescribed and I knew that I wouldn't. I just refuse to take that stuff. I'm ok as long as I don't accidentally try to open that eye. It's all patched up and has a disk sewn to it anyway so it would do no good even if I could open it, beside the fact that I'm blind in that eye from the last time I had this mess. Sometimes when you open the good eye though you just automatically try to open them both at the same time, Since they have my eyelid sewn shut also, it doesn't open just just pulls the stitches., I'm getting better about not trying that, Anyway, this is the last day and tonorrow morning I go in for surgery again to have this all undone., I can't wait for that to be over with, All in all, it hasn't been too terrible. I've been through worse pain and this too will pass,

  4. Some where back in mid summer, I bought a new to me 2011 RSV. My 2008 rolled over 160,000 kms earlier in the year. There is nothing wrong with it. So I figured maybe now's a good time to sell er! I've kind of been shopping for a new bike for probably a good year. There's not to many that fit me, being 6' 6". I've looked at Dual purpose, and they're not bad. But don't have the creature comforts like the Venture. I looked at Harley Dressers and Gold wings too. Both fit ok. But then I realized, I'd have to start all over again with adding stuff to make it mine. And spending piles of money So I found a 2011 Venture with 30000 kms. To start over. I also picked up a Stratoliner front wheel, which should look pretty sharp on the new Blue. So any way, my QUESTION does anybody have the dimensions for the plate to replace the cassette with gauges? I checked out all the threads on adding gauges, and found some attachments. But couldn't open them. Thanks in advance! BTW this is the best forum going.

  5. Got the biopsy back today. As expected, it is malignant but that was almost a given.

  9. First surgery was completed yesterday and I got home around 2:00 for so I think. Wasn't terrible but of course my eye is all bandaged up. Felt pretty good yesterday but not quite as good today. Could be worse though. I think it's going to feel like a long weekend until I go back on Monday for the second surgery to remove this radiation plaque and etc. All in all, probably not quiet as bad as I expected.
