Seat Repair/Refurb/Upgrade

Hey all,

I have done some searches on this topic but many are rather old.  I am pretty sure what I have here is a stock seat on an '08 RSV.  Its showing wear on the seams and I know I'm gonna get a wet Butte eventually.  Are there good aftermarkets out there that are good for just the driver seat.  Should I just take it to an upholsterer?  Its still really comfortable, especially with the adjustable backrest.  (Dont get me started on the stock V-Star seat on my 07 1100, those SUCK)

Nicely worn in, take it to an upholsterer.

I scored a new one from Partzilla last year but I don’t think they have them anymore. Upholsterer probably the best bet now.

I've been gone for awhile but is Robert Butler still around?  Both my RSV and RSTC came with "Butlerized" stock seats and they are awesome.  He does great work at what used to be a very reasonable price.

I had a custom saddle made for my '83 by Diamond Customs out of FL a while back. Pretty sure they have the RSV covered as well. IRC, I had to call to order as they don't have the Ventures listed on the web site. They were very easy to deal with and the saddle was fantastic.
