Bones Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I seem to have lost my passenger communication cable and am not sure to where it was connected on the bike. I was wondering if it possible that it was plugged in and can be easily replaced or if I need to look into getting a new one and rewiring it. I am at a loss as to what happened. I assume that it must have gotten loose and was pulled off somehow. Any thoughts would be helpful.
etcswjoe Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 It plugs in under the passenger seat and is easily replaced.
aharbi Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 An old Personal Computer (PS/2) keyboard extension cable will work. They can be had for like $4/5 dollars.

I think Yamaha sells the cords as a set for around $65 so this would be a much cheaper alternative. Pinwall has a few also if you want to stay stock.
djh3 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 I have both ends from building different cables for folks. So if you run out of options PM me.
Bones Posted January 1, 2016 Author Posted January 1, 2016 Thank you all. I am relieved to know I am not going to have to get out my very old soldering iron and make a mess... I will let you know.
