videoarizona Posted January 20, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2015 So...after reading all the posts I could find regarding issues with installing speedbleeders, I was wondering if I added a teeny bit of pressure to the brake pedal and handle when I go to remove the OEM bleeders and install speedbleeders...if that would keep air out of the system??? It's a thought.....valid? david
Flyinfool Posted January 20, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 20, 2015 You will still have some air in the system that will need to be bled out. It may only take one pump to get all of the air out, but there will be some to get out. The inside of the speed bleeder will not have any brake fluid in it until you bleed it out. cowpuc Posted January 23, 2015 Share #4 Posted January 23, 2015 Gently easy movement on the master - cap off and gently move the lever in and out - just enough to move the fluid around - you can watch those tiny bubbles come to the top - speed bleeders work ok but there is nothing like spending time massaging and talking to your scoot while your making her feel better!! Patience is a virtue..

Patience is a virtue.. Yes, I always end up talking to my scoot when I'm working on it.
