+1 for the Custom Dynamics 100 LED tail light. I sometimes read traffic signs going the other way with the amazingly bright light.

 

You don't recover any power from this LED but I feel that making the tail light visible is very important on the RSTD, since there is but the one running light. I added LED donuts to the turn signals, but this light simply overwhelms them. This tail light is about as important a safety upgrade as you can buy for the RSTD, IMO.
