dacheedah Posted August 4, 2012 Share #2 Posted August 4, 2012 There are several threads on taking the eye brows off. The fuel filter is after your petcock and before the fuel pump: http://www.starmotorcycles.com/partviewer/?ls=star

Royalstargazer Posted August 5, 2012 Share #6 Posted August 5, 2012 Took mine off when I had the bike painted. In fact I left all the emblems off except the one on the trunk. As far as the fuel filter, it is behind the cover under the seat next to the fuel pump. Not under the tank, like the dealer told me.
M61A1MECH Posted August 5, 2012 Share #7 Posted August 5, 2012 Fuel filter is under the seat on the left side of the battery box. It is a fair PIA to get to. It is held in by a rubber strap that is hooked on to a metal tab. Still have my eyebrows, I have read where folks have used fishing line or dental floss to get between the fairing and the eyebrow, just saw thru the double sided adhesive, and the remove any left over glue and wax the the affected area.
