ID fishtail exhaust

Recommended Posts

I have a set of fishtail pipes for the RSV that I'm trying to ID before I sell. No identifying marks on it that I have found. RSV mounting tab for under the bags. No seams, can't remove the baffles. I'm thinking Samson, but don't know how to verify.

Any thoughts? I'll get some photos posted later this afternoon.

All I can tell you is they are deep at idle and bark really loud when you crack it open.

They are definitely loud. I put one on a friend's RSV I was working on yesterday and it was over my tolerable limit.

I was thinking of stuffing some expanded steel into the inlet end to break up the sound flow a bit, but I might just sell them and have it over with.

I have CD changer that I had in my 2000 Venture when it was totaled.....It was bought new with the bike in 2000 and in 2004 it was replaced under 5 year warranty because it was bought new on bike and I hit a pot hole and took out the Lazer....It's in Yamaha rubber case for in left saddle bag....I didn't get the original cord from totaled bike but Yamaha gave me the part # for the short CD Changer Cord since I had it on the bike that was totaled....I use XM all the time now and don't use it....Want to trade?
