40 Years - Priceless

After being married for 40 years, I took a careful look at my wife oneday and said,

"Forty years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car,

slept on a sofa bedand watched a 10-inch black and white TV,

but I got to sleep everynight with a hot 23-year-old girl.

 

Now ... I have a $500,000.00 home, a $35,000.00 car, a nice big bedand a large screen TV,

but I'm sleeping with a 63-year-old woman.

It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things."

 

My wife is a very reasonable woman.

She told me to go out and find ahot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure

that I would once again be living in a cheap house, driving a junk car,

sleeping on a sofa bedand watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

 

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve an old guy's problems.

heh ... around here, that would buy not much... maybe a bachelor or 1 bdrm townhouse but, some of the areas in the interior, it would buy a very nice place. In fact, I know of an area right now where the average price of a single family home runs around $115 G ... and it won't be long before that will drop drastically due to a disasterous sawmill explosion which, if not rebuilt, will pretty much turn the town into a ghost town. A very sad situation indeed and it is close to me in that I worked there on a contract for a while back in 2003/04.
