greyghost Posted January 7, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2012 Looks like our bikes here in Canada have finally been lowered to match US prices. The price of a Venture has dropped $3,900 Canadian. Yamaha has announced big price drops on its most popoular bikes. I guess it is good news if you have nothing to sell and are a new buyer??? http://www.cyclecanadaweb.com/articles/14098/
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted January 7, 2012 Share #2 Posted January 7, 2012 so what do you all think this will do toresale of the second gens out there? I looked at an 09 in the fall and the owner still has the bike and I am hoping to have the funds in the spring for it. Do you think the value of that bike will drop some by spring? Will that $12,000 bike now be worth 10 grand?
Carbon_One Posted January 7, 2012 Share #3 Posted January 7, 2012 I think it'll be a roll of the dice on whether values hold or drop. News claims that the unemployed numbers are falling now to 8.5%. More folks are being called back to work now. Still I think a lot of people will still spend conservatively, while keeping an eye on the economy. just my .02 here Larry
