Trader Posted October 13, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 13, 2011 (edited) I've got a set of Markland foot rests that bolt onto the front crash bar. They just don't seem to allow me to stretch out as much as I would like. Is there any type of extension you can get or if I have to buy a different model, can anybody direct me to a REASONABLEY PRICED alternative? I don't want to spend $200 for foot rests! EDITED TO SHOW PICS OF FOOTRESTS I HAVE, AND WINDSHEILD CHROME I"M LOOKING FOR! Edited October 14, 2011 by Trader

Jayceesfolly Posted October 14, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 14, 2011 Steve: I have one of those chrome pieces you are looking for. It's in my storage area, so I will look for it this weekend and check it for you. If it is in one piece, you can have it. I'll get back to you this weekend. friesman Posted October 14, 2011 Share #6 Posted October 14, 2011 Try these they are what i have and they are great. http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?Category_ID=54&manufacturer_ID=16&product_ID=27012&sblid_name=Kuryakyn_Longhorn_Offset_Dually_with_______in__Magnum_Quick_Clamp__pr_ I have those too, and I love them. I mounted them on the vertical pipe on the front of the crash bars to get more room to stretch out on. Then you can adjust these to all kinds of positions to make them work best for you.(hmmmm kinda sounds like an ex-girlfriend...) :rotfl: Brian
mlew Posted October 14, 2011 Share #7 Posted October 14, 2011 Your floor boards are similar to mine, I had the same problem. I made extensions and remounted them forard a bit. The extensions are scrap 1 inch square tubing with a plate welded to one open end. Quite simple and functionl
saddlebum Posted October 15, 2011 Share #8 Posted October 15, 2011 the floor boards you have, are the same as what I used to have. I could never get them to stop moving around. The kurykins on the other hand, clamp on pretty solid and there is a variaty of adaptors for them.
Wizard765 Posted October 15, 2011 Share #9 Posted October 15, 2011 I agree with the long horns.. I have them as well. Very adjustable to where you want them and look good too. I have them where I can put my whole foot on them OR just my heels OR go right over them and rest my ankles on them for a full stretch. With a backrest and this position it's like being in a rocker recliner...
