I found some passenger grab handles from a Venture Royal and was wondering if anyone has tried to make these work on a 97 Royal?

I am almost SURE that they are not. I don't think your Royal Star has the strut that they mount to and if it did, I KNOW that it wouldn't be drilled for them.

I am sure that drilling and custom work would be involved, and I am not afraid of that. I was just wondering if anyone had tried it before. I don't know the Ventures enough to know how the grips are mounted. I have been looking for close up pics of them installed to see if I could make them work. So far I don't think Ill try it,...

A quick look at my RSV and it looks like one end fastens to the fender rail and the other to the trunk mounting bracket. It was dark when I looked so I could be wrong. If I'm right and you don't have the RSV trunk bracket, there wold be no place to attach the rear of the grab rails.
