It was great seeing everyone again! What a great turn out! Thank you Eck and Blackjack for setting this up!

 

After leaving Fuddrucker's, Cecdoo, Riderduke and Sleeperhawk and I took off towards Virginia and spent the night at Bristol, VA/TN. After breakfast, Cecdoo and Riderduke headed home and Sleeperhawk set the Zumo for a route home using only country roads! What a beautiful ride we had.

 

Our first stop was at South Holston Dam. Even though it looked like rain was on its way, we were able to ride around it. Absolutely beautiful scenery the whole trip. After getting on Blue Ridge Parkway, we stopped at Mt. Mitchell State Park. Mt. Mitchell is the tallest mountain in Eastern United States at approximately 6,500 feet. What a view from the observation platform! We continued on the country roads and spent the night at Black Mountain. We rode about 200 miles in about 8 hours on Sunday and it was such an enjoyable ride! And I got to take pictures of almost all of it!

 

Back to the normal routine tomorrow but what great memories we have!!
