Where is the Venture manufactured?

I did a search on the forum but I could not find this info. Where is/was the 2nd gen manufactured. Esp the 2000 RSV.

My Honda Sabre was built in Ohio so I thought that maybe the Venture was built here also.

The first letter/digit of the VIN will tell you the country of origin. However, if it not a J, then you have a real anomaly, as Yamaha only builds motorcycles in Japan.

It has a "J" as the first letter. So it was made in Nippon, the land of the rising Sun.

Keyboards were made in Thomaston Ga. But the plant closed down so I have no idea where now...maybe China or Mexico...
