Does anyone know what chrome (plastic/ABS?) fender tips would fit my '83 Venture front fender? What more current bike model fender would be comparable in size, curvature, etc.? I need to cover up some paint damage near the tip from a recent paint exchange with a girl's car (I wished she would have looked, & I was more careful that time).

Thanks,

Doug

The problem goes back an inch or two. I do have some side molding - I'll have to check it out. It might do the job. It's just that the cast tips tend to start out at $50, and most of them are over $100, and that's way too much for my budget.

Any chrome MKII fender tip and medalion will work. They show up on Ebay occasionally.

Thats exactly what I used to cover a scratch on the fender on my 85. Just got some good glue and stuck it on.

I bought one like that on Ebay a couple of years ago. I'm cheap so it was probably inexpensive.

Stuck it on with an inch or two of particularly tenacious double sided tape I scrounged up from the graphics dept at work.

Hope this helps.
