Eagle77 Posted March 23, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2010 I am looking at a Yamaha Head set on e-bay. Package shows it is a Yamaha Product. The seller says it is a 6 pin din connector. I have a 2006 RSV and the info I have says my connecting receptical is a 5 pin. Anyone know if this will item will work on my bike? Thanks in advance for any info
eusa1 Posted March 23, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2010 the yamaha headset that you are looking for is made by a company called j&m thats j and m and it is a five pin connection, and no a 6 pin will not work. same part from j&m is cheaper without the yamaha sticker stuck to the front of the box. mike

Freebird Posted March 23, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 23, 2010 You can find better prices on J&M at: http://www.sierra-mc.com/ They sell J&M but cheaper than you can buy direct from the manufacturer. If you are looking at the higher end units, take a look at Edsets also. Much better sound in my opinion. http://www.edsets.com
