scope59 Posted March 18, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 18, 2010 Hi Folks I am new to the forum and just bought a 2009 RSV-S today. I am trying to integrate my GPS, Passport 8500 Radar Detector and XM into the aux input so that I can hear them over the bikes stereo system. I am not using a headset nor do I have bluetooth. Do I need a box like Mix-It to make this application work? Thanks for any inputs this is an awesome forum. Steve
BuddyRich Posted March 18, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 18, 2010 Probably, since your mixing so many inputs. Just putting a splitter in may not leave enough vol from anyone of them or all of them.
Freebird Posted March 18, 2010 Share #3 Posted March 18, 2010 Yea, I'm not sure but I think that Kennedy makes something that would help integrate it all together. Try doing a Google search for Kennedy Cell Sets or something like that.
seforeman Posted March 18, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 18, 2010 I am using the Mixit2 on mine, and I have to say - it works great. GPS (w/BlueTooth) integrated into a Kenwood A300 master controller. This device allows for IPOD, HD Radio or Sat Radio to all be integrated into a single controller. I removed the cassette and replaced it with this device. I wound up putting the mixit under the fairing as it would not work in the Hopnel Pouch with my IPHone or IPOD (to tight a fit). Stu
