M61A1MECH Posted February 24, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 24, 2010 I can tell you that the Khrome Werks slipons that I purchased were listed as for the Venture and they were originally designed for a Harley, because along with the instructions for mounting them to a Venture they sent along instructions that at the top of the page for the installation instructions it states " 3" HP-PLUS MUFFLER W/MULTI-TIPS F/L85-94 & 95-98 FL & TOURING MODELS " The Venture kit does come with the adapter plates required to mount them to the Venture. No it is a easy as pie, take the hanger bolts loose , the clamps loose slide oem mufflers off, assemble the Kromewerks hangers, bolt up attach clamps and fire it up. Glenn Glenn, have you done a search on this site for Road King? There's ton's of info. To answer your question, they are a "slip on" fit. You will need a bracket for the rear mount and I'd recommend getting the V-Twin clamps. Info on all of this is in several places on the site. Yes, they do sound better IMHO. I have them and I've drilled out the baffles and I really love the sound and total cost to me was under $100 CAN. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
