FROG MAN Posted October 27, 2009 #1 Posted October 27, 2009 The catching of the Rose thief live in the act put a stop to mischief at the camp. Along with patrols daily for months. But catch a man down on his luck with the swine flu and not able to patrol and guess what happens. MamaMo's display of Fall Pumpkins on the front porch is gone. We now have a pumpkin bandit on the loose.I'll be back on patrol soon but if I don't catch them the Swine Flu will.
Squidley Posted October 27, 2009 #2 Posted October 27, 2009 They just keep you running, I think you should make a snare trap to get them and let them hang upside down for a while
Yammer Dan Posted October 27, 2009 #3 Posted October 27, 2009 Where is the Son-in-Law??? Does he like pumpkin pie??
Sylvester Posted October 27, 2009 #4 Posted October 27, 2009 In the old days, rock salt in a .410 gauge would end such shennanigans. OH C..P think I gave my age up. But that was only used as a last resort .
Yammer Dan Posted October 27, 2009 #5 Posted October 27, 2009 Was there when a thief got a dose from a 12 Guage with Rock Salt. I don't think he came back for seconds. And he was about 250 ft away and moving. Talk about shifting it into a higher gear!!!
BoomerCPO Posted October 27, 2009 #6 Posted October 27, 2009 The watermelon farmers down South are well known for thwarting those raiding their fields. A couple of shots with the old rock salt made believers outta all of youngsters I tell ya. Boomer.....who's still got the rock salt scars.
BIG TOM Posted October 27, 2009 #7 Posted October 27, 2009 time to invest in a couple of outdoor cameras....it'll save time and gas.....and makes a great deterant and witness..........
