ArticusMedicus Posted October 2, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 2, 2009 Has anyone added a tac and if so can I see some pics? I really want to add one, but don't know what way to go. I have found some flat ( 1/4 in thick) digital gages that I was thinking about setting in a leather tank bib. But other than that, I'm lost. Carbon_One Posted October 3, 2009 Share #6 Posted October 3, 2009 I've added a Drag Specialities tach to the right handle bar. It's mounted with a Kurykyn "P" clamp in a Arlen Ness bullet cup. On the left handle bar I have a volt meter mounted in the same set up. Larry
1sttenor Posted October 3, 2009 Share #7 Posted October 3, 2009 I added a Koso tach/temp gauge on the handlebar. http://www.kosonorthamerica.com/ It is a 2" gauge, and it being both a temp gauge and a tach, I'm going to try to install it in the tape deck opening this winter like the triple gauges everyone is installing, with just a oil pressure gauge as I already have a voltmeter on the bike. I'll try to take a pic this weekend to post for you.
ArticusMedicus Posted October 4, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted October 4, 2009 I added a Koso tach/temp gauge on the handlebar. http://www.kosonorthamerica.com/ Man, I like that temp/tac combo. Why has nobody built a replacement part for the chrome cover on the fuel tank? That would be a wonderful place for a set of gages or LED bars. I'm no engineer nor do I know anything about plastic molding. so I guess I'm just a dreamer.
