halfwitt Posted May 1, 2009 Share #5 Posted May 1, 2009 I lived in Phoenix from '66 to '72. We used to go up to Sedona area frequently. I haven't been there since probably '80 but I remember it being beautiful. We used to go to Cave Creek and slide down the rocks. I wonder if you can still do that? I'm pretty sure that was near Sedona.
RedRider Posted May 1, 2009 Share #6 Posted May 1, 2009 Redneck, I just rode that route last Saturday. It is fantastic - other than having to push the little KLR's off to the side so you can get around. Just kidding - of course - I also have a KLR (also an '08 - red) that I love riding the twisties on. It is a really fun bike. Now, to have ridden the KLR out there and back would have put me in traction. Great pics. RR

Iowawegian Posted May 1, 2009 Share #14 Posted May 1, 2009 I got to go to Sedona last fall. Saw the Grand Canyon and drove through Oak Creek Canyon. All I kept thinking was "What I wouldn't give to have the hubby here on our bikes". It was all breathtaking!!
