    Someone drove by and inquired if I was interested in selling my 76 Chev Luv (156K miles). It is in really bad shape. Has a cracked head and has been parked for 15 years. I'll attach some pictures. The only thing I know about parts vehicle is that I'm looking for a 90 to 93 1st gen for parts for about $500.00. If readers could give me their opinion I'd appreciate it.

    Firstly, thanks for all the input to my "What should we buy" thread. We looked at Ford, Dodge, and Chev (Nina wasn't too excited about Nissan or Toyota). Almost did a deal on an '07 F150 4x4 but it was just a bit beyond our budget. Then we found this 2005 Chev Silverado 1500 2x4 extended cab LS model with only 56,000 Kilometers on it .... whittled them down to 12,500 and made the deal ... hopefully will be picking it up tonight (pending financing).     A couple weeks back the neighbour who is a Used Equipment Manager at a Chev Dealer came home with a SS Camero. Had to take a look and he comes out and throws the keys to me and says take it for a ride. Was not saying no. Naugh-T and I took off for a little ride while he had supper. Sure is a nice looking car. When I got in I had to lower the seat to the lowest point and even then I was touching the roof and when I put the seat back to a comforatble spot there is NO room in the back seat. Never took the Traction control off but was able to hit a few times and man that thing goes and it stays straight. Anyway 30 minutes of fun and a few pictures was worth it. Brad
