  9. if you want to see diagram better use the view in tool bar top of page. go to zoom in. don't forget to put setting back. here is relay no picture sorry. not sure what this pic is of
  10. that's the fuel control unit the relay has two red/white, blue/white, blue/black the diagram in second post shows the control. got that from owners manual could not find it any place else. here is pic.
  11. im on my 3rd Samsung phone. s5 at this time all of them haven't made it through the contract with out dyeing out. I think the company has them rigged to fail before 2 years are up. they don't offer flip phones any more at uscell. most of the ones camping out for a phone are younger generation probably. as far as laptops go asus are slow processing between screens that's what I have now.
  12. here is the diagram with relay.
  13. ok relay tf307 wires. gray wire 11v r/w wire 12v l/w wire ground b wire true ground. I bough a relay off ebray same thing. the other relay r/w 12v. l/b 12v. l/w grounded. so I disconnected l/w from both connectors. pump runs fine. hook other relay back up pump runs fine. ran a jumper between the two pump shuts off. is the diodes killing this tf307 as soon as key is flipped. also is there a way to test this with out buying anything. I have the bike running great other than this problem. the only place I found this relay was owners manual.
  14. why that was why I go to the motorcycle museum. go up and wish I could ride it. it needed a good bath last time I saw it. they had just moved into new building. hope it don't go into a private collection and never be seen again.
  15. wife hasn't hardly talked to me for about 2.5 weeks. forgot our wedding day. im blaming the motorcycle. went up to midland plastic bought some abs scrap. then I thought why not buy plastic welder then needed air regulator then plastic rods. im in deep. hope im still around tomorrow or next day. post pics tomorrow night. have to keep taking faring off so had to reinforce.
  16. well what is this one with blue connector the one that says oem side stand. so now there is tf307 relay not in 83 wiring diagram may be wrong diagram in tec section don't think there is a gear indicator in 83:doh:
  17. any one have a relay looks like a tf307
  18. 5-5-11 dingy you replied to a thread with pictures of a 83 fuel pump relay. I been testing the wrong relay if it is supposed to be the 1.5 square relay aprox and flat. the manual showed two for pump but wire colors are different will try to take pictures tomorrow and post.
  19. well let me recap today. jumped relay connecter pump runs fine. put relay back in works when bike not running. disconnected tip over switch pump still don't run with engine running. disconnected side stand relay pump still don't run with engine. pulled black and white wire on computer pump ran with bike first 5 times. then problem came back went into computer turned off fuel pump setting no difference. tested voltage at both sides of fuses good. still don't know how it knows bike is running. throttle switch for killing bike works for on off of pump while bike not running
  20. I fixed the side stand switch when I first got bike had a habit of forgetting stand down made sure it killed bike and it still worked before I removed wire. the other thing I just did was remove factory boost sensor. never unplugged it till now. according to diagram not connected to this wire. I did clean all plugs in wiring. maybe they just got contact. if fuel pump ran off this terminal that would shut off fuel. no that would short it out
  21. I disconnected black and white wire. fuel pump runs all the time. kill switch still works. side stand don't kill bike. so t/o switch probably disabled also. but side stand shows in cpu when down. did tci go bad?? I noticed the setting says yes to fuel pump been that way whole time though. never changed it didn't seem important.
  22. the black and white wire on 6 wire plug on tci should it have 10 volts with bike running. I think it is hooked to tip over and side stand. according to diagram that would disable fuel pump relay.
  23. well tip over made no difference. so i unplugged relay with blue connecter I think its side stand switch. will stare at wire diagram a while longer. I believe its a normally closed relay on both circuits ie fuel pump and side stand.
  24. will try this tomorrow unplugging tip over switch. is it possible to take it apart and clean out. going to add a short piece of wire to pump power side. so when it does this again will be able to get home. may even wire to extra in fuse box just leave fuse out. have to stop for now and get rubber balls out of furnace they went all the way down pipe. forgot to put register back on after replacing trim. wife wants heat now.
  25. mine is mounted straight up but same area. will give it a few taps see if it makes a difference. had to stop working on it for now. but if I understand correct red wires are for pump power and other to power relay. blue and white grounds relay which cuts off power to pump
