Glad you had a great trip and enjoyed some of those routes. As for "affording" .... it gets more and more difficult every year coz my wages don't seem to go up by the same percentage that my living cost does ... but I'd guess that's pretty much the norm everywhere! I used to think I'd be able to retire somewhere around 67 ... now that I'm 68 and still working, I'm shooting for 70 but I figure the way things are going by the time I hit 70, I'll be looking at 75 .... geeeesh! And my boss says I can't leave unless they're carrying me out in a pine box!!

Yup!! I'm with ya on that one too. And then there's the guys who cover the toilet seat with a$$-wipes instead of the available paper seat covers, they do their business and just leave the mess behind and in some cases, the mess inside the bowl also! gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Next one ... and this really causes me to:bang head: my head .. when my wife prepares a meal ... she puts all the scraps from the preparation process into the sink ... then when she's all done, she moves them to the garbage containers which are slide-outs and directly under the sink! Why not just put them there in the first place???? another --->

I'm in sync with Don and Doug on theirs. Now here's one of mine .... you know those little 2-cup coffee pots they have in motels? ... and the coffee packets? WHY is the basket in the coffee pot ROUND and the coffee packet SQUARE ????? In fact, has anyone ever seen a square basket?? ggrrrrrrrrrr this drives me crazy every time. Was sure nice to stay in a motel (Yreka) that had the new Keurig style coffee makers. Oh yes, I do have many more too!

The process is you let the underlying color dry (in this case black), then you use a "slow" reducer and maybe even some "retarder" additive in the top coat. Lay the saran wrap down ... pat it, pull it, and yank it off (the saran wrap ya perv !! LOL) ... let that all dry and then start applying the clear.

That can be achieved using saran wrap ... back in the late 70's and early 80's it was the hot item ... had a paint and body shop then and did quite a bit of that.

Good point. When installing Win 10 you'll get to a screen that says... “Hi there, welcome back” Click Next On the “Get going fast” screen, click Customize Settings at bottom left of the screen. On the “Customize Settings” screen, - turn off all four items - click Next - then turn off all except “Send error and diagnostic info to Microsoft” - click Next - click Next again. After Win 10 is done installing, go to the link Gothic posted and do the suggestions there.

I've upgraded 4 systems already. 2 at work, my home PC and wife's laptop ... All except wife's laptop were running Win7 Pro. Her's was 8.1 Just one issue so far... At work we run our phone interface thru the web browser (it's VoIP and remotely hosted) ... it's not compatible with the new "Edge" browser. Simple fix, just run it thru IE. I'll let a couple users at work run the two systems for a while to see if anything crops up. Only one thing I've found so far that I'm not liking ... when you lock the screen, it seems as if it logs you right out coz to get back in you have to re-enter your user credentials. (this is at work and running in an Active Directory domain). In prev versions you only needed to key in your password.

Working in downtown Vancouver, BC I get approached at least once every day. I think I've heard every story there is, including the one's BlueSky stated ... several times by different people. On top of that, the same one's come around regularly and sometimes have a different story, sometimes in the very same day. My response is simply: What part of NO don't you understand.

No need for the RV section for that ... ya never know... my "down scaled" replacement bike might just be an older Royal Star. Not giving up riding completely, just scaling back a lot and doing something else instead.
