  1. 1903 Buchet http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l582/rrosco/Buchet_zpsb6baeca1.jpg
  2. Not exactly a household name here in the U.S.
  3. Matchless 8hp, 1000cc Motorcycle and Vickers machine gun armed sidecar. Ordered in 1916 by the Russian Government, built in 1917 and were never shipped owing to the revolution, so taken up by the Motor Machine Gun Corps of the British Army instead. It's the only Matchless Motorcycle + Vickers combo left (there are two others - both Clyno's, one at the National Motorcycle Museum and one in storage owned by the Imperial War Museum), and of the three motorcycle machine gun combos left, it's the only one running.http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk256/RobLangham/New%20album/a7-2.jpghttp://landships.activeboard.com/mobile.spark?p=topic&topic=49864019
  4. Around one hundred built.
  5. 1943 FN Socovel, electric scooter from Belgium.
  6. Like I said, "be precise" with the description. So which of the above is your answer? Because it ain't fair to "shotgun" it with all the descriptions and all the years. What year and model (precisely) is the pictured bike?
  7. Because this is not especially difficult, you must be precise in your description:
  8. Morbidelli V8, circa 1994.
  9. As like the previous motorcycle, this bike was rarely sold outside its country of origin.
  10. Chinese Donghai 750A circa 1980http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/04/Donghai_gr%C3%BCn_Seite.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b7/Donghai_750_solo_links.JPG
  11. No, adjusted properly, the First Gen intercom utilizes a VOX (voice activated) microphone. Simply speak, and the passenger and operator microphones are activated. A nice plus for the First Gen over the second Generation. You do have to use the PTT button to speak on the CB.
  12. Adjust the "H-PH ATT" knob on the audio remote control box on the left handlebar AND the passenger remote control H-PH ATT knob.
  13. Tricky because it is a modified Frankenstein bike? I see a parallel vertical twin cylinder engine. I see AMC/Matchless G11/AJS front end and mufflers. I see turn signals; which would not be stock. I see a left foot shifter. I see a left side kick starter. I see a right side chain drive. And I see where you edited the sidecar. It is apparently European with the front fender registration number placard. I ask again...is this a PRODUCTION motorcycle?
  14. The maker of the VentureMP3 for the Second Gens also makes a device that allows integration of any device that uses a 3.5 mm male jack connector as an audio output, into the stock First Gen audio system. He (Jesus Barrantes) offers a Bluetooth receiver that can be plugged into the device he makes. More information here: http://ventureaudiolink.wordpress.com/ I purchased one, but I have yet to install it. (My bike is currently disassembled.) He can be contacted via email: info@venturemp3.com BTW: If you go to Jesus' site linked above, he shows a photograph of the underside of the Venture audio unit. Note the nut, washer and rubber grommet in the photo; that is the rubber damped mounting point that holds the main amplifier. Your intermittent connection problem in your original post may also result if that depicted rubber dampened mount is loose or if the rubber is compressed or if the rubber or washer or nut is missing. http://ventureaudiolink.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/easyinstall2.jpg?w=645&h=613
  15. Pull the control panel and closely examine each of the many pins and sockets in those blue connectors. Sometimes if the panel doesn't go on perfectly, one or more of the pins/sockets may be misaligned and when the panel is seated, the misaligned pin/socket will get pushed into its respective connector body. Instead of a good male/female connection, you end up with an "end to end" contact of the pin and socket.
  16. 1939 Brough Superior Dream, a flat FOUR engine.
  17. An unlikely model from this manufacturer. Looks mighty fine, though.
  18. ABW (Australian Battle Wagon). Australian made, the bike features car carbie, Magna alternator, home-made engine. http://nationalmotorcyclemuseum.com.au/gallery/bikes/ABW_Battlewagon_2.htm
  19. Is that a production motorcycle? Looks like a fairly modern Harley chassis, but the Earles forks and the water cooled V-twin engine?
  20. Next up is this motorcycle with a rather strange front suspension.
  21. That is a 1929 Douglas DT5 http://www.webbs.co.nz/node/120446
  22. Yes, that was a Cleveland Tornado. Good show! As for your offering: the engine configuration looks very much like the engine made by Maybach for Mars. A special Mars racer?
  23. Puc, just do a Google image search for "shadow box". Lot's of ideas and variations. Basically a shadow box is a wall hung display case with multiple cubbies.
  24. Not an Ace engine. Not a Henderson frame. Made in the USA in 1929.
