    Thanks for posts guys. I have ridden more than 10 miles on test rides with some venture, and thought the noise was minimal. I'm looking at a used 2007 with about 4,500 miles on it. I can buy it for $11,000. Does this sound like a good price, or should I be paying less? The bike looks very nice, like new, except for 1 small srcatch on saddle bag.

    Is there a real problem with the bike, or is it just that some people are sensitive to a minor noise? I have tried a couple on test rides, only noticed some minor noise.

    I have been looking at buying a venture for months. I really like the 2007 blue. However, after reading all the posts on here about noise problems with these bikes, I am a bit concerned. How likely is it that I will have a problem with noise issues if I buy a 2007 venture? Has anyone figured out a way to really cure the problem? I don't want to end up with a bike that I can't stand to ride because of an irritating noise. Can some people with experience help me out with this? Thank you.

    Does anybody know the best source for a loan to buy from a used car dealer? I would probably change my mind and buy the bike for $11,000 if I could arrange good financing. Help appreciated.

    One problem I have is that I have financing avail through yamaha credit, however, I have to purchase the bike from a yamaha dealer. this guy is not a yamaha dealer. So I may buy the new 07 at a dealer. Anyone have any good ideas for me?

    I decided not to buy 2007 venture for $11,000.00. If anyone else here is interested in this bike, it is an awesome deal. The bike is blue, with only 503 miles on it! The bike is in Florida. If your interested, let me know, I can give you info on it.

    Seriously?, Is that possible? This dealer I'm working with is telling me they are selling at a loss @ 13,900.00.

    Who has owned a Harley touring bike, and how do you like Harley compared to the venture? Would you go back to a Harley, or do you like the venture better?

    I think I want the venture because of the radio and fairing, just wish the trunk was quick detatch so I could go with the sporty look most times, then throw trunk on for longer rides. Also like the look and lower seat height better on the tour deluxe. It's never easy... always seems to be a compromise with every bike. Anybody have any more good points to steer me in the right direction?

    I think you have a nice idea. I am going to buy either a venture or tour deluxe, but can't decide. Now you have thrown another idea in the mix.

    I want to buy the Venture or the tour Deluxe, and can't decide. I like the venture, but wish it had the tour deluxe seat and seat height, as it is lower. Also, I like the trunk on the venture, but wish it were sort of quick release so I could take it off for a sportier look when I didn't need it. Any thoughts from the people that have these bikes?

    Hi everyone, I'm new here. I recently became interested in the venture. I love the bike after trying a couple of them! I like the radio, and I think it sounds good, but can you upgrade the speakers so you can play them loud with no distortion? Better speakers maybe?
