I had the same problem. Would only squeal when mine was hooked up as a single. NOT FEEDBACK. Dealer tried to tell me that because he didn't want to find the problem. I finally took off the seats and there is a plug that was ever so slightly pulled apart. Pushed it back together and put some electrical tape on it and no squeal. Went 1800 miles to Sturgis and back and no squeal. Ran the IC at the same level I always had.

The plug broke off inside the auxillary input on the 2007 RSV. Can't get to it from the front. Will I have to take off fairing to get at it from the back? Will I be able to get it out from the back or not be able to use ? Also have a squeal in the sound system when only the front headset is plugged in. Sometimes it will squeal all the time sometimes only when you go over a bump. When the wife plugs in in never squeals. Dealer said it was mic feedback but it doesn't go away when I cover up the mic. Thanks

The sound system on my 2007 Venture squeals when only the front headset is plugged in. When both front and rear are plugged in everything works fine. Tried switching helmets but still squeals. Worked fine up until today. Anyone have any thoughts as to why this would happen? Thanks in advance.
