The links for Venture History and our Memorials are now located in the "Community" drop down menu. and that's all for tonight.

Let's watch it for a day or so. If that mod was what was causing it, I'll have to figure out another way to add links to our memorials, history and etc.

I just disable a mod that adds tabs to the navigation bar. Did that help?

Are you talking about the ones you posted yesterday? If so, yea, they are gone. I installed a complete new classifieds software today. Sorry about that. I am done though. They won't go away again. I paid too much for this one.

I'm totally perplexed by this. It is not happening on my computer. Maybe it's browser related. What browser are you guys using?

All the styles are pretty much done so I don't expect that any of them are going away but am just curious. What color are you using now for the site?

For all practical purposes, the upgrade is now complete. All server software has been upgraded to the latest stable versions. PHP, MySQL, etc. is all current. VBulletin software is updated to the version that I felt was best for us. We are using VBulletin 4.2.3. There is actually a version 5 but I don't like it. I had to pay for version 5 but then had the option of using any versions up to the latest that is what I paid for. Version 5 is missing some key features that we use here and in fact, a lot of sites are not installing it. I ended up purchasing the latest version of the classifieds software that we had been using on the old site. I am actually very pleased with it as they have added several features that I felt were needed. I've installed a lot of modifications and customizations already and I think that all the important things are there. There are still some small things that need to be added but they will come in time. There are a couple of things that probably won't be brought back simply because they are more trouble than they were worth. I have heard some of the things that you are missing. A button at the bottom to take you back to the forum and etc. I will be looking at these things over the next days, weeks and forever probably. I'm always looking for ways to make this site better for all. So all that being said, please use this thread to request any features that you would like to see in the future. I'm out of town again now and have spent many hours on this. Eileen was basically a widow last weekend as I spent almost every moment working on the site. So there won't be a lot more done over the next few days. I need to NOT spend a lot of time on the computer when I get home tomorrow. I want to thank all of your for your patience over this past week or so. I know that things are different but hopefully you will get used to it quickly and we can get back to talking about motorcycles and riding.

OK...I just made a change in the way that the cookies are handled. Let's see if it makes a difference.

WOW....you found an OLD thread. This was for the 2009 Rally. The registration info and etc. hasn't yet been posted for the 2015 rally. This one should have been deleted long ago.

No, you are doing nothing wrong. I just got it installed and people just haven't had time to post their ads yet.

Thank you for your patience. I have finished installing and configuring the new classified section. This is the last time, I promise. This is the one that we will stay with. It is an upgraded version of what we used before so it should be fairly familiar to those of you who have used it. Assuming that I have all your permissions and etc. set properly, you should be able to upload your ads now. Let me know if you encounter any problems and it should be a quick fix. Again, thank you for your patience but this should be the last time that you have to rebuild your ads.

I'm thinking it's just a phone style issue. What are you using? Tapatalk?

You told me that it was too hard to use them. Just for you, I started completely over. Have installed an entirely new system and it should be ready to go. Give it a try.

No problem. I was actually looking into it. It seems to work fine unless I log out completely. If I log in with "Remember Me" selected, it remembers my preferences. If I actually logout though, it changes back to red when I come back.

OK folks....I'm just not happy with the classifieds. They seem to complicated for the casual user. So I just purchased the newest version of the PhotoClassifieds software that we have used for years. Hopefully some of the features that I felt were missing in the old version have been added. I know that at least some of them have. So, I am waiting for the email now that tells me it has been processed and I can download the software. Hopefully that will happen today and I can get busy on it tonight. This means of course that your ads will have to be re-created again. I'm really sorry about that but I think we will be better off in the long run. Going to turn off the classifieds for now so that others don't waste their time creating new ads.

I made a change a few minutes ago. Were those who saw it using "BLUE"?

I'm not seeing it. What color are you guys using? Is it just on phones?

Which color theme are you using? I looked at Red and Blue and don't see the double text. Yes, I noticed that in the classifieds. I'm still thinking that I may go with a new version of what we had before. Several things I don't like about this one.

I removed the avatars. I think that was messing it up for some people.

Have you deleted your bookmarks to the site and created new ones? That s very easy and would likely solve the problem.
