  1. The seat is the Russell Daylong. Passenger backrest is a Corbin that I had them recover to match. I am ok without the motor mount covers and not all that crazy about the chrome side covers. I like them in the black. I really don't want much more. I am honestly pretty much done with it. There are a handful of things that I will add at some point. First will be the chrome passenger floorboards but the cheapest I've found them is $204.00. I will also eventually add the wind deflectors that attach to the crash bars. The last thing will probably be the SpeedoHealer.
  2. You nailed it. Not so much front but definitely rear.
  3. Nope. That may come at some point but not what I'm looking at.
  4. Wasn't able to sleep tonight so have been doing some work on the site. One thing that I did was to add a couple of member that we recently lost to our memorials page. This is always a difficult task for me because it gives me pause to reflect on all those that we have lost over the years. Some I knew better than others but I knew all of them at least through their words here on the forum. I know that we will all leave this world sooner or later but that fact doesn't make me miss these men and women any less nor does it soften the pain that I feel for their family and loved ones. They are gone but will never be forgotten. Please take a moment to visit our memorials page and if you are so inclined, say a prayer for the family and friends that were left behind. http://www.venturerider.org/MEM/index.php
  5. Well there are still a couple of things needed for my new '05 Midnight but most can wait for a while. I woke up around midnight though and haven't been able to sleep and I went out to the garage for a few minutes and there is one thing that is glaringly missing. It just doesn't look right. Who can guess what I'm talking about?
  6. I have uploaded most of the pictures. Not 100% sure if I got them all correct but it should be most of them.
  7. I know nothing about the but I do know that member @IronMike has a pair of saddlebags off an RSV that was converted to a trike. I know you could buy them for less than they want for those.
  8. Don't know where in Australia they are from but I know that we have at least one or two more members. Annie and Quickstep come to mind. Maddog used to come around but don't know what happened to him.
  9. No but thanks for asking. We are having food brought in for the Saturday lunch. Fried chicken and all the fixings.
  10. Exactly and exactly what I want it to do. I am perfectly happy with the wired headsets and the CB will still work with this setup through my regular headsets and mic.
  11. Hard to say without checking it out but I would suspect a bad cable, cable extension or adapter if you use any. It is often the mini stereo connector that is not making proper contact that would cause that.
  12. Commander II is a Michelin. No worries at all.
  13. That listing had ended but I found another seller with the same thing and just placed my order. I like it.
  14. Just so there is no misunderstanding, you do NOT need the 16 degree adapter to put them on any of the second gens, only the first gen.
  15. I like the other one better because it is powered off the bike's battery. That's the primary reason. I hate having to worry about dead batteries.
  16. Just a reminder that we will be riding to Quaker Steak and Lube on Friday evening for dinner. We will leave my house around 5:30. I have let them know that we are coming. If you plan to go and haven't signed up on the calendar, please do so. I would like to give them a call with an updated count by about Wednesday. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=474&day=2016-6-10&c=1
  17. Nope, just Bluetooth connectivity to the aux port.
  18. Mike, You much have gotten a bad one or something. I had one on the '99 and have one on the '05 and both ran fine. Especially nice if you have the VMax rear installed and are hitting the rev limiter too early.
  19. Weather Smeather....just be here.
  20. I was in Indianapolis all week for a trade show and got in around midnight last night. Waiting my arrival were the saddlebag lid covers, combo tank bib/chap and gas tank covers from Nanci at Ace High Leathers. As usual, she just did a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier. Here are some pictures after I got them installed this morning. You can also see the Corbin backrest that I had Russell Seats recover to match the Daylong seat. Thank you @Luvdaleather for another great job.
  21. The CB still works if you are streaming your phone through the AUX so it should work fine. Now I'm talking about still using my wired headsets, that doesn't change. This would just be used to connect the phone to the aux without a cable.
  22. I have a 10/22. Great little rifles and a LOT of options to customize it. I also have a Ruger Single Six convertible between .22 and .22 Mag. Love that little gun.
  23. LOL....yep....I'm not the sucker...I mean INTERESTED PERSON this time.
  24. GREAT. That would do it. I will probably do that because we use Pandora almost exclusively and it will be great to not have to worry about the cable. I wonder if the Bluetooth reception would be OK if it is mounted inside the fairing?
  25. Looks interesting but how did you hook it up? The RSV doesn't have the aux inputs with those RCA connectors.
