    cut 1 open and there is nothing inside except a big square black composite rubber block and there are 2 relays in front solded on that board you mentioned no repaired parts inside you can fix sorry!

    I mess being with Motorcycle riders i have just joined never knew there was such an origination as the Venturers. I'm 69 and have worked almost all my life and have very few friends and the only other biker friend i have is my younger brother he has a new Harley and I have a Harley and this 1984 Venture Royal I'm currently having problems with the turn signals I ordered a new handlebar control for it the return spring in the cancel switch has worn out and will not let the switch return. I don't have turn signals and I have replaced both the 41R-71 RELAY and Hazard Switch AND still don't have TURN SIGNALS and yes, I did check the Fuse on both sides there is power. Wire checking don't have power on the brown wire with white strip at the 41R-71 Relay or at the Hazard Switch and no power on the handlebar switch assembly same wire (B/W).

    can you replace the 41R-71 relay with the newer module from a 87 bike part # 1NL-85830-00

    as stated before still having blinker trouble blinkers will not blink when you push either right or left blinker the 4 way flasher starts making all 4 turn signals blink at same time you can push on the blinker cancel switch and all lights go off also removed handle bar switch cluster and opened it up and cleaned still same problem also removed hazard switch could not clean switch because it is braded shut no screws ran WD-40 into switch worked switch on/off about 17 times ran some alcohol through switch and let dry plugged back in and still same problem...HELP TRIED TO TEST SWITCH BUT GOT CONFUSED there are 8 wires on the plug.

    Try Kicker speakers from Crutchfield K45 series lot of sound and they can help with correct wiring etc. I have some kickers 4" in my bike, and they are really good sounding speakers 100 max normal 50watts.

    Whenever either right or left turn signal is used the 4 turn signals all flash help.
