  2. Well I must have been eating my Cheerios lately...last time I tried tightening the pivot bolt on the armrests I couldn't get it to budge....tried it today and got them tightened down. Hopefully they'll stay....I will monitor it.
  3. Here are a few pics of what I have....
  4. Gary, appreciate the comments, but it's all chromed so the options are limited. Will have a good hard look at it one of the these nights...perhaps I could fashion some fort of a rubber stopper and find a good glue to hold it in place......we'll see.
  5. Ya, those look like the ticket. Have a PM in to Larry to see if he still makes them.
  6. "lop eared gearheads!!"........now thats funny! I have been called alot of things....manny of which I can't say here...but never been called that! Thanks for the laugh.
  7. Bought some armrests for my 2006 RSV and they clamp onto the grab rail. For the most part, they are O.K. but like most armrests, there does not seem to be any mechanism to keep the rests for swivelling at will. When I have no passenger, I have to use a bungee cord to keep the rests tied together and pulled in towards the seat or the wind blows them out into an "open" position. When she's on the back, if she raises her arm off the rest, the wind takes it into an open position. Does anyone make armrests that don't have this same issue? She's not happy....and we all know that when "she's" not happy.....nobody is happy.
  8. Looks like a great time....wish I could have been there but......who let the Harley in???? Bwahahahahaha!! :rotf:
  9. Thanks to everyone for all the input....and the diagrams....although I got too busy to actually get 'er done this weekend, I will get to it this week one night. This site always has someone jumping in to answer questions.....makes it great.

  12. Now THATS funny!
  13. I want to upgrade my horns on my 2006 RSV but was wondering if there isn't a better more forward location to put them to project the sound forward better. Anyone have any comments or pictures of horns mounted in other places? Thanks.
  14. I used it last year in my Wing and loved it. Haven't had the chance yet to run it in my RSV, but I plan on it soon.
  15. You should be scared! They're all animals!
  16. The reward is a restraining order keeping "Tinkerbell" and "Biellsabub" from your home....LOL!
  17. Bobby, you're such a tease!!
  18. I'll tell you that the ugly one in the middle is me. Can anyone identify the other two "characters"?
  19. "but none of those seem to fit me and my wife as well as the Venture".....sounds like you already know the answer....if you like the Venture and it fits right....why spend money on a "maybe" fit. Having come fronm a Wing myself, I have to say the only complaint I had with the Wing was the seating position......the Venture fixed that problem for me though.
  20. Cougar...those are the exact threads I followed when I did my install, thanks. Guess I need all the cables that I am currently using.
  21. I just thought that the BuddyRich cable eliminated the need for so many cables. If the speaker output from the side of the GPS takes the GPS/paired cellphone output and gets plugged into the aux input by the cassette deck, what is the BuddyRich cable doing?
  22. O.K......I'm confused but lately that is the norm. Bought the BuddyRich cable, split the fairing and hooked up the cable and installed a splitter at the same time. Bought a Garmin Nuvi, bought the Ram Mount and the adapter that attaches to the rear of the GPS as well. I understood that the end of the BuddyRich cable plugs into the adapter attached to the rear of the GPS, and with the stereo/intercom controls set to "Aux" I should then hear my GPS and phone through my headset......but I don't, they go through the bikes speakers. It's only when I plug in another cable into the side of the GPS and into the aux. input by the cassette deck that I get the phone through my headset. If that's how it needs to be hooked up, what is the BuddyRich cable doing....or have I got something hooked up wrong? Thanks
  23. Have a great day celebrating the anniversary of your 29th Birthday!!!
