  1. With the ROX they allow you to raise them of course but you can also pull them back a bit toward you as well. I installed them on mine and was able to raise them enough and pull them back toward me so I'm sitting more straight backed instead of hunched over trying to reach for the bars.
  2. I use the Sena freewire with my 20S headsets and works great, I don't, however, know of this $25 adapter that you speak of. I purchased the Sena version of the free wire that is designed for the Harley's so it comes with all connetions and adpaters needed.
  3. I can tell part of that is from the helmet buffeting in the wind, especially behind that trailer. That is one thing I found that is great about this bike, is that behind larger vehicles the bike doesn't really move, my head that's a different story. It's being pushed around, I'm sure raising the windscreen would help but it's no big deal, I'm more impressed that the bike isn't tossed around like a rag doll like some of my other smaller bikes were.
  4. I'll check that but I would have thought since I had 10 different way points that it would have followed those a priority but I'll try that, thanks.
  5. I bought these risers as well, my issue is that yes they did block the indicators a bit, again like Freebird, I can deal with that, but how much are your hands in your mirrors now? If I remember right I saw in another post that you are a little taller than the average bear so it may not affect you as it would us average (short) people.
  6. So when you select "End Point" it will start navigating to the end point through all the way points you have set up in Googlemaps? I saw that option but when I did that it just sent me straight to the end point and that was it. So I was curious how to set up the entire route . . . I am leaving for Colorado this weekend and would like to set up a few routes to put on a thumbdrive.
  7. Oddly I was doing a search for different covers and ran across a website that had a backrest that mounts to the stock seat . . . http://www.eglidegoodies.com/id251.html
  8. I have used the reverse to back into my garage. It's at a bit of slope and where the drive way meets the garage concrete I was worried about it stopping, but it rolls over all of it just fine. The way everything is configured I have have to pull on the little paver patio back up then roll forward then back up again. So I've used both of the options on the assisted rev/fwd.
  9. I am having the same issue as Tony P . . . when on a phone call it is echoing i hear myself talking as well as the other person. I wondered if anyone, besides Tony is having that issue and how did you remedy it? I am using the 20S . . .
  10. Ah, ok, well that will work . . . thank you again . . . was able to get my nav set up finally just used a 4th thumb drive . .. but it worked. Thanks for your reply.
  11. I have another question off the topic of this thread, but all the other bike I have purchased in the past have either had a designated place for paperwork (insurance card, registration, etc) or there was a decent place to store it. I have yet to find one such place on this bike. So the question is, where are you, the SVTC owners, keeping your paperwork?
  12. Have you installed the lower wind deflectors yet? How difficult were they?
  13. Thank ChiefGunner . . . I have yet to order the service manual, I plan on doing that asap. I have been more concerned with getting the loan/paperwork/etc out of the way to be able to pick up the bike that I still need to do that. Tomorrow is going to be the last good riding day in Ohio, so I get to put it away for the winter . . . so i'll have time to get it and then get the software squared away. Thanks again for the response.
  14. I have a question about the Nav setup . . . I just purchased the SVTC . . . yesterday . . . and I'm trying the instructions on the nav set up since the dealer didn't do it and I'm not seeing where I need to format the thumb drive a certain format. is that info somewhere on here that I missed? Thanks
