  1. I picked mine because I work in an Emergency Room and I'm a Registered Nurse. I ride a 97 RS Tour Deluxe, so I picked ErRn97RSTD. As far as my signature, I just think you should enjoy life.... Ride Safe ~~Carl
  2. Just my 2 cents. I'm new to motorcycling this year and I live in New Jersey which has a mandatory helmet law. I also work at a Emergency Room/Trauma Center as a nurse. During the summer we see alot of m/c accident victims come through. They all have had helmets on, thankfully, but I could only imagine how many fatalities we would have had if the riders were not wearing helmets. Don't get me wrong, I am totally in favor of the right to choose, but I am the one taking care of these riders and they all could have been alot worse had they not been wearing helmets. My only dilema with not wearing a helmet is the families. Myself and other medical staff have to tell the families what happened to their loved ones, be it good or bad. You have no idea how tough it is to tell a family member their loved one died. I can only say to those that don't wear helmets think of your families before getting on a bike without wearing a helmet, think of what they might have to go through, god forbid, you were in an accident without a helmet. Unless you have already talked with them about a living will, your wants while in a coma, whether they should pull the plug on you, etc, etc... Just think of how it would affect them, afterall they are your loved ones. Didn't want to put such a negative theme to this but reality isn't always good. I wish all of you a safe ride. Again, just my 2 cents.~~Carl
