  1. You're gonna whine about cow pies to a Nebraskan? Have you seen the brown lines down the center line and outside of every curve in our state? Cattle waste in NE, Pig in IA. My little grandkids call me Papa. Lots better than puc ! Hahaha, but then again, after 16 hours ripening in the saddle... Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  2. Grands are awesome! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  3. My little daughter with my second grandson and 7th grandchild Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  4. My guy is gonna do it while he's got it. We discussed Yamaha upgrade parts so I'm certain he'll have me covered. I tell you when you have an old bike, a mechanic you've just gotten to know but who knows this motorcycle and you're sharing videos and information from " experts on the web" it can be like walking a razors edge. I think we've established balance of my respect for his expertise and his appreciation for my enthusiasm and teachability. Great guy. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  5. It's funny to see you call me Ty after spending my whole life with EVERYONE, EVERY TIME that I introduce myself to making a Rock Star reference. I've always been grateful that I wasn't named Jeffrey Dahmer! Don't think I haven't used that to my advantage in getting in to see doctors with my goods and services! I'm glad that when most people think of Steven Tyler a smile comes to their face. Of course, from that initial greeting on I make myself memorable in myriad other ways... 6. Perfect! I'm still puzzled about inserting a wire to throw the oil though. Is this wire an actual part or does a guy make one? What keeps it in there? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  7. This Couch on the front porch is as close to camping as I get these days. I'll bring some real Omaha Steaks of your choice and sleep on an ant hill if I can crash that gig! Once yet-to-be-named 83 is up to the trip! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  8. Wow, could I benefit from a few campfires with you two. It's obvious by the sheer amount of hours that you can keep yourself entertained in the saddle per day that you get to do some ruminatin' when most common men don't know how to think for more than a 30 second sound bite. Stay safe Brother. You're a treasure. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  9. What an amazing accomplice you have there! You are making me consider more aspects and talents of this big old '83 when I get her road (Or might have been a road)-worthy. Fire trails? With a passenger? Desert night's? Cell towers! Like truckers looking for a Wal-Mart? We have a lot of those out here. Didn't know I wouldn't get arrested! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  10. Deservedly you are the Superman Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  11. 16 hour days?!? What are you 100? I'm sure if I rode that hard I could sleep on a bed of nails behind a gas station under a dripping water faucet Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  12. Desire? Gimme a bed and a memorable day trip! I'm not as hard boiled as some. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  13. Thank you Lord that I've been blessed to have outlived my need to sleep on the ground! But that does look amazing! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  14. I would much rather see the Pucster AKA superman flying on a trike! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  15. Mic Drop on the cowpuc? This ought to be fun... Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  16. Luv this! "Of course I don't have the hardware plus the kitchen sink hangin off the back of mine so they probably last a little longer." Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  17. Hahaha. Ok I'll try that or electric tape since it's opaque and flexible. My helmet has an internal black bridge of the nose sunscreen that raises and lowers. I mentioned before that I feel like a dork in that helmet. It's not so much a dork but maybe a poser. It's like a 300 mile per hour helmet , on a nearly 60 year old man, on a thirty-four-year-old barn find that hasn't been washed since sitting 2 years, like I'm trying to relive my teen years or something. At least I'm invisible in there except for my neck. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  18. PC Police gave you a warning ticket! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  19. And not have to go buy tape. (Cause I'm frugal that way. Function over form) Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  20. I like that look too but figure I could put a strip of masking tape on the inside and get the same Sun blocking. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  21. I wear a halfshell most of the time but I got a Caberg modular that wear in colder temps, which you don't see in FL, that I love but feel like a dork when where it. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  22. Good idea! have you considered putting the tape on the inside? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  23. Wow! Glad you're ok! "Moral of the story...never let your guard down, always have an "out", and anticipate the unexpected. Sorry this was so long but am happy to be here relating the story to my Venture family." Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  24. Reminds me of trying to teach my kids how to ride a bike. One of the hardest things was getting their eyes off of their front wheel and handle bars and looking out ahead making balance much easier. Also makes me think I should upgrade to 2nd gen brakes Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  25. While my bike is with my mechanic, should I have an oil cooler added to my stator? He seemed concerned about drilling the cover but says it would definitely help the stator last longer. I know I've seen conversation in here about this upgrade but does anyone have a parts list or Video available? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
