  1. Dont know of, and never heard of, any type of replacement seat cover for a 1st gen,

2nd gen or any other type bike out there on the road myself.

E-bay might be a way to go to get a price value on a replacement seat.

From that approximate dollar value you would be able to determine a fair dollar amount to have your old seat recovered based on what price you find on E-bay..

Another thought that you may want to consider is covering your old seat with sheeps skin or something to where you cant see the wear and tears in it..:confused24:

  2.

Around here they charge by the extra axles. One axle trailer is double, and a tandem axle is triple the base cost. Some of our bridges are now charging $4 bucks per, and I think the Golden Gate is $5. A tandem trailer will bump you up to $12-$15 bucks.

Hey guys, I meant to say they charge by axles..... not tires.....my bad...

Heck it was early in the morning and I didnt have my coffee yet.. :rasberry:

  3. Dang good question you got there Condor..

I thought all tolls have a sign that state they charge by the number of tires...

    2 wheel, 4 wheel...18..wheels..:confused24:... in your case.. it would be a 4 wheeler...

  4. 2nd Gen owners...

You may have a slow water leak.... and not even know it.

This slow leak can only be seen when the fuel tank has been removed because of its location.

The water hose clamp I found leaking is located just above the right hand side engine dog bone.

The leak will appear as a white powdery substance on the rubber hose, or on the hose clamp.

You may even notice a spot or two on the TOP of the rear valve cover located on the right side front jug. Look carefully because it looks like dirt.

I was able to turn the clamp tightening screw about 6 turns before it finally became tight on the hose.

NOTE: Do not over tighten the hose clamp where it cuts into the rubber hose.

I enclosed this picture to help you see what it will look like.

  5. Barend,

Not sure if you have tried this yet, and I am sorry if you have and this is not the answer your looking for..

If you look at the top (right) of your posting, you will see a tab called "Display modes"

You can click on that tab and change from Hybrid mode to Threaded mode.

One of them lists the full tool bar to the left hand side of the screen.

This may be of some help with your request.

Again, if this is something you have already tried, please discard my reply, and someone else will jump in shortly that may be of help with a better answer.

Until then.... ride the threads safetly... !!!!!!!!
