Can the bags and trunk be swapped from an 89 to an 83? Heard the mk2 bags were made bigger for more storage. Or would it just look goofy?

A couple times Lucy has kicked out of 4th while shifting. She is fine in all other gears. I shift from 3rd to 4th and she just free spins and I have to go up to 5th. Happened now about 3 times. I've read a lot about the second gear issues with the first gens but haven't seen anything about the other gears. She is at 48,xxx miles. Ideas oh wise ones?

My bride is asking for a head count so they know how much to make. Please PM me or post here if you can make it or are thinking you might make it or even if you want to but might not. If they over cook than that means more for me later.

Ive got it!!! Sell me the bike for 20$ and then you wont have to worry about it anymore! Or gently use a coat hanger to try and free it up. Had to do that on a car taink once.

Road it to work... contemplated the consequences of not punching in and just going for a ride instead. Remembered the last time I took a mental health day and how my wife couched me for a few days for not taking her with. Decided to punch in... road it home. 15mi total today. Only about 200 short of what I was hoping.

I got confirmation today that my mother in law will be here August 15 to 27. So..... August 20, 2016 will be the first, of hopefully many, Wisconsin MG&ET's. For those of you who don't know, my bride is full blooded Mexican and whenever her mom comes into town they fill my fridge with all kinds of South of the border yummies. Eating like normal again yesterday and today. She has also gained back a pound. Hopefully she keeps it on.

I had to repair a goof up from the po on my scoot. I just used an impact and then a torque stick when putting it back on. The torque sticks aren't perfect but will be close enough...

Tail lights are all good. None of my dash lights worked till I took the front apart to check the wiring to the light.

I only have 2 fuses in there. One for the starter and one for something I can't identify. I do not see any corrosion on what is left. Someone did a "I'm an electrician" job on my bike...

My daughter has medical issues and thanks to the unaffordable health care act, we are nearly bankrupt. So for us it's work and lack of funds...

So I played around with the wiring and didn't find any burnt wires and all of the plug-ins on the headlight look clean. Put everything back together and now the low beam works and the little white light on the dash is on... went for a short ride and the headlight flickered twice in about 15mi. Still thinking RLU?

I work part time at a local auto shop and have seen some doosies. Some of my faves are- self balancing viper hubcaps, using air soft pellets in the tire to balance while driving, using a cup of trany fluid in with the engine oil as a "oil treatment", getting 87 gas and adding 3 shots of whiskey to "up the octane", adding stop leak to the fuel to plug a leaking fuel filter, filling a tire with Great Stuff (spray foam insulation), using oven cleaner inside the muffler to keep it clean and quiet, and the ever popular winter to summer air swap...

So I just witnessed this guy putting Squirt (the soda) into this ladies radiator in her minivan. He was rattling off about how it is really the best coolant and how it prevents leaks and increases gass mileage because it flows better through the system and a whole bunch of other stuff... Now ive been working on cars for around 17 years and have been working on diesels for three years now. Am I missing something or was this guy absent the day brains were handed out? Ive heard and even tried some rather unconventional repairs before but this one is a little out there for me.

Her temp dropped to normal yesterday around one. Again, nothing from doctors... She lost a pound and a half. She seams to be back to her normal self. Now to see if we can get her to eat like normal agan. Thank you all for your kindness.

My youngest turns 2 in august and has been in and out of the hospital since she has been 3 months old. The doctors have no idea what is going on with her. Every few weeks she spikes a huge fever, starts vomiting, and it's off to the ER for tests and fluids and blood work and whatever. She has had tubes put in her ears, sinus surgery and a whole lot of other stuff tried and failed. She has been tested for allergies and we have had our home swept to check for environmental causes. Everything has come up negative. I am writing this as another fever is starting to take her. I'm not really the religious type but right now I need help for my daughter. Her name is Miranda and she is the most amazing little pistol of a child. Please pray for her.
