0600-security bob look for the 4by4 piece of wood, but was unable to find-it. 0617-he patrol the area and found another piece of 4by4 wood but the piece was alittle too big. 0630-security sambo had come to take security bob's patrol of the area. 0645-security sambo had noticed when he had patrol the wood, that the wood looked alittle big. so he got his saw and cut off some of the wood. 0700-security sambo had called the office and stated that he was getting sick. 0720-security hardey had come to take over the patrol of the wood. 0750-security bob had called to see if everything was o.k. security hardey stated that the piece of wood needed some help, so he put-on some wood protector. the wood is fine. 0800-security bob took over the patrol and noticed that the wood looked small and had a smell to-it. so he put-the-wood in the ____ can and went home. if you ever watch a piece of wood, chain-it to a tree....

let me start out by saying that this venture web site is the best. now, I have a problem with the fuel overflow vent on the carb's. there is no hose's coming from the overflow, I know the hose goes to the overflow, but where does the other end of the hose go to??? I don't want my bike to catch fire, and go boom... how long is the hose's??

I finished taken the front, sides and other parts off today. I put the screws and bolts in a bagie and mark them on there they go, for when ever i get finished putting the engine carbs linkage back on the carbs. I also found-out that the radator hose to the overfill tank was off. This bike is beeing bad, but i will hold-off killing-it, until i can't take-it no more working on it. I will take my time looking for other things that might been missing, or other things that need to be put back together. I have a puzzle that need's fixing.. Also need a hug from a sis....

yea, I to had brought a 85 venture for $650.00 that the owner said had only 12,000 miles on the bike. he much of been high, cause the bike looked like it has 60,000 miles on it. what can I said,(been token for a ride)..

0445-security bob still had the bird mess on his foot. he looked around and found a tree to rub the mess off of his foot. 0500-security bob had found-out that there was a squirrel on the tree, now the squirrel has the bird mess on him. 0510-as security bob was backing-up, the squirrel took matters in his own way, the squirrel had jumped at security bob, knocking him down. 0540-security bob made a patrol of the wood, and found-out that the squirrel had token the wood.

thanks for the help. yes it was the front air scoop, and the trunk rack too. I am just starting on this 85 build-up. the last owner had the carbs cables unhooked. I am beginning to wonder if I had made a wrong choice in buying this bike. XVZ12DN:256:

I got a 85 venture royale and wanted to know of anybody that has a cover from under the headlight. and a chrome rack that sit's on top of the box. let me know when you can..

glad that you are fine after you and cage fight. I also once had a cage run me over to the edge of the road. I was on the inside, a guy had wanted my lane, he pulled over right in front of my bike. his cage was almost pass me, when he had pulled-over in my lane. I had to put-on my brakes to keep him from hitting my bike. after he had gotten in front of my bike, I speeded-up, got in front of him, and slow-down to the point that he wanted no part of me. after I gave him the finger, he had turn off on a side road. he doesn't need to drive on the roads.
