  1. Just curious if anyone on the site has done a before and after dyno run on their second generation Venture or Royal Star after adding some or all of the following items to improve the performance : 1. Aftermarket slip ons. 2. K&N or other less restrictive air filter. 3. Dyna 3000 or other ignition mod. 4. Jet Kit. I am sure that many people on the site have done some or all of the above and if you didn't confirm the results with a dyno run what did the seat of the pants feel indicate after the mods.
  2. Looking to possibly change out the stock mufflers on my RSTD for some aftermarket slip ons. I have seen some fishtail slip on mufflers on some Ventures on this site and I believe that they are made by Samson exhausts. Just wanted to inquire if anyone can give me some feedback that have them on their bikes regarding how they like them. I am not looking for a loud exhaust so any information on how they sound compared to the stock mufflers would be appreciated. I am interested in the fishtails mainly because I feel they complement the lines of the bike. If there are any other slip on exhausts that are out there that are worth considering then please feel free to chime in.
  3. Those fairings look nice and the pricing is reasonable. I also like the fact that you can keep the quick release mechanism so you can remove it and go back to the regular windshield if you want. Which fairing did you order? The one that fits the Road Star or Harley road king? Also can you elaborate a little on how you made the brakets or did you just modify the supplied brackets that came with the fairing? Thanks for any info you can give.
