  1. I will say this. I have had to make the same drive(most of the time on my bike) 28 miles each way for the last 3 and a half years. Its a state highway similar to the one on the video, and posted for 65 mph. It is very common for a farmer to pull out in front of you and drive 40 or if you are lucky 50mph. So yes I have passed more than once when I have a double line when on a clear area. On one particular afternoon on my way home a guy did something very similar as the video to me. He actually floored his truck and swerved over into my lane trying to keep me from passing. I was very fortunate that I was in the far side of the lane as I went around him but still was put to the shoulder as I went around. I also didn't know that one of the many cars backed up behind us was a state trooper. He immediately hit his lights to pull us over. I ended up with a written warning for unsafe passing but the guy in the truck got reckless driving ticket. He was very upset and was hollering that I shouldn't have tried to pass him on a double line that it pisses him off when people do that. The state trooper was cool about it and told him to shut his mouth that if I had wrecked he would have been arresting him. So do I still pass in similar situations? Yes I have. and on the very same road when it's just me on my bike (my kids ride with me a lot). I still think I was safe if the guy hadn't acted like an idiot.
  2. Looks like he did it on purpose to me. I just don't understand people anymore.
  3. Looks like Crud has the runs LOL
  4. You bet Puc. I had a milk crate on my Honda 360 when I was in school back in the day. I carried books, groceries, gas can or what ever was needed, which was my dog half the time lol
  5. Going to have to add a milk crate on the back
  6. Just subscribed
  7. Glad your riding again and if you have a Turbo on the White Washer blow some are way this winter. We get a couple inches and all the stores are emptied out and schools are closed lol So not to much
  8. Let me know when your having chicken and dumplings
  9. Is that when Crud turns the road into ground PUC
  10. It a great ride. I ride it a couple times a year. The Angry Hussy cafe has pretty good food in Talihina on the West end and on the east end is Mena and there is a pretty good BBQ there. I live in Fort Smith so if any questions let me know.
  11. My Father n law rides a Suzuki Burgman 650 and loves it. Very easy for him to get on and off and will run highway speeds all day.
  12. That's my kind of therapy. I turn the radio on, flip the fan on, and tinker on my bike while my dog sleeps on her bed next to my work bench.
  13. Eck it had definitely thickened some but it was still in liquid form. I had around 18,000 miles on them (E3s). Not sure why but the back tire seemed thicker than the front.
  14. Great looking bike. Hope you and the wife enjoy it and get many happy carefree miles out of it.
  15. I use it and like it very much. When I changed out my last set of tires I had a couple nails in the back tire and it never went down.
  16. Now that was funny Puc
  17. Fun and DMV never go together
  18. I had the same problem with my 84 last summer. I changed out the fluid and never had the problem again
  19. This is what I went with on my 84 and Earl also has a kit for bypassing the sensor that is very easy to install.
  20. I did the complete upgrade on my 84 MKII forks, calipers, and master cylinder, progressive springs, R1 rotors, skydocks stainless lines with delink and EBC HH pads. It wasn't cheap but its like riding a new bike now. The front end handles so much better and stops in a hurry now.
  21. Hope that clears it up Randy. I know that stuff is miserable
  22. Spray stuff they use for jock itch on it. It works great and dries it up fast
  23. There having trouble finding cassette decks.
  24. All I know was when I was a kid I had his action figure and toy motorcycle that inspired me to ride motorcycles. I still don't know how I didn't destroy my 1st bike a Honda cb360 or kill myself jumping anything I could lol.
