  1. I'd go back to where you got the Odyssey. No way it should go that quick. Something is wrong with either your bike, or the battery. I had an Odyssey in my 2000 VL1500, and it was going strong when I sold it, and probably still is after three years +.
  2. It looks like it sits really high off the ground.
  3. That is awesome. Great to see some older stuff rescued. Nice day here in the great white north too...
  4. Stebel Nautilus is actually slightly louder at 139db vs. the Wolo Bad Boy at 118db. Not a huge difference, both will hurt you if you let 'em fly and are close by. They also have more assortment than the Wolo, but it comes down to choice.
  5. Pouring rain like crazy in the Ottawa Valley all night and morning...
  6. I've installed the Onyx too. I used the car kit on the bike, and so far it seems ok. I haven't activated it yet, but the preview channel sounds great though the RSV speakers.
  7. Hi all. I'm going to get a Utopia backrest for my '13 RSV, and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the "quick out" option. Is it worth the extra $$? Convenience?

+1 on that harness. Easy to use, and great that I don't have to splice into the harness like I did on my last couple of bikes.
  9. Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I realized that too. I got mine from the dealer a few weeks after I got the bike last year. Pfft. A 2gig model at that. It's still sitting on the table. I actually phoned Yamaha Canada and they pretty much just pooh pooh-ed my inquiry. Basically said take it or leave it. Kinda disappointing when you drop 20+k on a bike and they can't even spring for a decent hat or something.
  10. Hi. Just a question to an older thread. Did you use the car antenna for the bike, or did you get a special "bike" antenna?
  11. I have the Krome Works hitch and the wiring harness from the forum. +1 on the wiring harness, -1 on the hitch. The harness is very easy to install, and helps avoid the need to cut into the bike's wiring. The Krome Works hitch, while very easy to install, has a terrible positioning for the attach points for the safety chains. Carbon One's hitch has a better placement for these attach points.
  12. Nice! I'm lovin' mine. From Kitchener, huh? God's country. I grew up on Dunbar Rd.
