Hope everyone is well. I took a new position in November, unforeseen things happened that have kept me running crazy lately, and screen time has been nil. We’re well here, trying to help the oldest move to Florida now that she’s got the MD tacked on to her signature. (Dr. Dawson has a scary sound don’t it?). We’ve gotten exactly one afternoon of riding in since new year, but that’s getting ready to change. Hope to see y’all this summer.

Not everyone who is called a mechanic can properly tighten steering head bearings. I would loosen them off about a 1/16" and see if that makes a difference, often it will. They need to be tight enough to offer a very slight drag, but only very slight, a little too much and the bike will 'drift'.

Late to this thread but wanted to endorse a West Coast gathering. I live in Salem, Oregon and have attended the past 2 west coast gatherings...Riding the Kootenays and Yreka. Definitely would attend an event in Late June, July, or August. Would also work with someone to organize something, if need be.
