Bubbajbi Posted May 9, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 9, 2007 I just bought a '99 RSV and I am thinking about removing the trunk in between long trips. Is there anyone out there that has done this and if so how difficult is it to do? I only plan on taking 2-3 trips per year that I would need the trunk. Is it worth the effort to take it off? BuddyRich Posted May 9, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 9, 2007 Your CB is mounted under the trunk. So your going to have to place that somewhere else.
Carbon_One Posted May 10, 2007 Share #3 Posted May 10, 2007 Check with Salty as he's done the trunk removal already. Larry
Squidley Posted May 10, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 10, 2007 To be honest I would leave it on, doesn't hurt anything and once you take it off you will find that you actually did need it at some point
Bubbajbi Posted May 10, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted May 10, 2007 Is it hard to undo all the wiring if I do decide to take it off?
